In automated packaging processes, there is no time for manual unfolding of cartons. With Atlanta Comarme carton erectors, flat-stacked cartons are automatically erected, wrapped, and taped to the bottom of the carton with hot glue, self-adhesive tape, and wet-stick tape. The boxes can be made of solid or corrugated cardboard. Comarme has existed since 1900 and specialized in the construction of packaging machines in the 1960s and was wholly owned by Atlanta in 2013.
