Omega

The fully automatic OMEGA ring wrapper achieves pallet performance and production capacity of up to 140 pallets / hour. In the OMEGA ring wrapper, the PRS foil pre-tensioning system is integrated in the foil carriage. The foil carriage rotates with the ring around the pallet and is driven by a patented system over purely mechanical parts. As a result, no electronic components or slip rings are needed on the rotating ring. The functional reliability and the maintenance intervals of the machine are significantly improved by this system. This patented system produces a perfect and constant pre-stretching, with the ability to regulate the application voltage from the touch panel individually and product-specific. This inline packaging machine has been developed according to the latest technical standards in terms of mechanics, electrics and software. The standard SIEMENS S7-1500 PLC with integrated Profinet ensures that this machine communicates easily with your packaging line. Due to the possibility of processing rolls of up to 40kg (jumbo rolls), the OMEGA ring winder achieves an up to 3 times longer uninterrupted production time than standard rolls. The OMEGA ring wrapper, like most other ATLANTA machines, has the ability to integrate a top sheet feeder into the machine.

The Omega model is equipped with a foil carriage as standard.

The machine achieves a capacity of up to 125 pallets per hour or 65 revolutions per minute.

  • Processing pallets with special size
  • Integrated cover slip. The cover sheet applicator, which can be integrated into the machine, can lay films on the pallets to create a dust-proof or watertight packaging of the products
  • Down device. The optional pallet hold-down stabilizes the load on the pallet with unstable products during the wrapping process. The hold-down can also fix an optional cover sheet on the pallet. (Recommended for a ring wrapper)
  • Automatic edge protection feeder. With the automatic, vertical edge protection feeder, all 4 edge protection boxes are attached to the pallet simultaneously. This achieves even better charge security and stability.
  • Automatic film change system. To simplify and automate the change cycles of the film, an automatic film changing system can be integrated as an option on the OMEGA ring wrapper. This also increases the availability of the system. As soon as the film roll is empty, a new roll is automatically fed. The magazine of the change system can be equipped by the operator during machine operation.
  • Pneumatic pallet excavating station. The excavation system raises pallets to a desired level to ensure optimal winding or non-positive connection between the pallet and the load.
  • Automatic stringing to reinforce the winding. Reduces the film to a "string" to ensure better stabilization of the load. Due to the string formation, the tensile strength of the film increases considerably.

Omega double headed

The Omega Doppelkopf (double headed) model has basically the same features as the Omega model, but features a second film carriage for higher performance.
